London wedding photographer or maybe I should say wedding photojournalist who focuses on informal and candid wedding photography rather than posed photos.
My passion for photography started when I was only sixteen years old and my uncle, himself a keen photographer, gave me my first film 35mm camera.
I enrolled at the The Institute ( Hampstead Garden Suburb ) evening classes photography course. I quickly learned new terms like aperture, focus, dark room printing, photoshop and film sensitivity.
Over the years, I have taken photos at every family gatherings and celebrations. In 2005 I decided to take it up professionally and for a short time was became a member of
- The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers ( SWPP ) is long-established Professional Photographers Association based in the UK
- The Master photographers Association
- British Institute of Professional Photography ( BIPP )
My style of photography involves story telling with reportage wedding photography aka documentary wedding photography. I do not direct or ask couples to pose as I believe that natural photos are better. Luckily this is what modern brides and grooms prefer, they want to remember the atmosphere and emotions of the wedding day.
I primarily provide wedding photography in London UK and the home counties, but occasionally will get asked to travel to other UK towns.
